Karen Harvey is a Senior Associate Attorney at Tschetter Sulzer Muccio PC with 30 years of legal experience, and has been representing landlords for the last two and a half decades. Before joining the Firm in 2013, Karen served as in-house counsel for a large Colorado property management company for fifteen years.

Karen’s substantive experience allows her to offer a diverse set of skills for the Firm’s clients, with expertise in document review/drafting (including residential and commercial leases as well as management agreements) and Fair Housing defense. For the past 10 years, Karen has assisted the National Apartment Association & Colorado Apartment Association with updating its Colorado lease, and keeping the NAA apprised of the many legal changes Colorado’s rental industry has experienced over the past decade.

A native Chicagoan, Karen graduated from the University of Illinois, Chicago with a BA in Criminal Justice and received her JD from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago-Kent College of Law. Karen and her family moved to Colorado in 1997 and have resided in Grand Junction, where she operates a satellite office for the Firm, since 2016.
