From a young age, Vic’s passion for the law was evident as he interned at Hopkins & Tschetter, the precursor to his current firm, while studying law. Throughout his career, Vic has garnered a reputation for his assertive representation of clients in both routine and complex landlord-tenant issues. With a deep understanding of the federal and state laws governing fair housing, as well as the intricacies of federal and state agencies, Vic is well-equipped to handle tenant discrimination and fair housing complaints.
An accomplished writer and speaker, Vic regularly shares his knowledge and insights on property management issues with the rental housing community. He understands the importance of client education in preventing legal complications and has developed the Basic Eviction and Advanced Eviction classes as part of the Firm’s Value-Added Services, benefiting clients immensely.
Born and raised in Denver, Vic’s lifelong connection and familiarity with the Denver Metro area greatly aids in his understanding and resolution of client issues. He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Economics with honors at Middlebury College and subsequently worked as a Financial Consultant in New York City before attending the University of Denver for his law degree, which he earned in 1994.
Apart from his professional accomplishments, Vic values his interactions with diverse individuals and finds fulfillment in positively resolving their problems. His commitment to community involvement is evident as he actively participates in various professional, civic, charitable, and political activities. Notably, he serves on the Board of Directors for Jewish Family Service, a secular, community non-profit organization. Vic is also an avid sports enthusiast and enjoys golfing, bird hunting, fishing, and actively participating in two different ice hockey leagues. Vic and his wife Wendy have chosen to make their home in the Denver metro area, further solidifying their commitment to the community they serve.
